Dougie Bower joined the RAAF as a Fireman on the 12th January 1959 and retired with the rank of Flight Sergeant on the 17th July 1981. Doug is married to Barbara and they have three sons.

John Carlile joined the RAAF as a Radio Apprentice in 1958 and retired as a FSGT Radio Technician (Ground) in February 1979.

In 1986, John Carlile was President of the Bundaberg Air Force Social committee with John Wilson as its Secretary. Both recognised the need for something more substantiive than the only function organised by the Social Committee, the Annual Re-union Dinner.

The Bundaberg and District Branch of the Queensland Division, RAAF Association was formed on the 18th February 1987 with John as Inaugural President and John Wilson, Branch Secretary. John Carlile remained as Branch President for fifteen years before retiring to concentrate on Division duties.

    John Arthur Wilson was born at Geelong, Victoria on the 12th of April 1935 and joined the RAAF as a Junior Equipment Trainee (JEAT) in January 1952 at the age of 16. John retired in March 1980 with the rank of Warrant Officer.

    Kevin was a former member of No 7 Flight of the New South Wales Squadron, Air Training Corps. The Flight was situated at Bankstown, NSW and Kevin served from 1964 to 1966 and attained the rank of Cadet Corporal.

    Kevin is the son of 37053 Corporal W.Coghlan RAAF who served from 1942 to 1946
